The agal, for a perfect hold
The agal, also called iqal, is a black woven hoop used to hold the keffiyeh, shemagh, or ghutra on the head. Very popular with men in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, it comes with its tarboucha, the skullcap worn underneath for optimal comfort — for a style that is both majestic and practical for everyday wear.
